A lovely hotel, with a very nice host. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the cathedral. A very charming place!

My husband and I loved Le Castel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well furnished. The host was very gracious and helpful and the breakfast incredible. The location is perfect and even though there is no parking directly at the home the public parking is across the street.

Beautiful place! They welcome you and make you feel at home! We stayed in the room with panoramic view over the church, awesome! There is little flexibility with timing (check in, breakfast etc.) but it is definitely compensated with the rest of the experience! 5 stars overall!

Charming bed and breakfast in a great location for walking to all of Bayeux sites! The bed mattresses are a bit on the firm side but morning complimentary breakfast of croissants, cereal, bread, yogurt, fruit and coffee/tea was great to start the day!

We were only booked in for 1 night and the whole thing felt like a list of NOs. Do not go through this door, do not go through this one, no we have no defaf or herbal tea. No do not make any noise. 7€ to park in their garden. The room was clean (apart from the bugs and dirt in the cup) but the toilet wasn't fixed to the floor so that was exciting. We got home from the restaurant and went to bed but got an email from them telling us (two 60 year old ladies) to be quiet. Would not go back and will not be recommending to anyone else.

We enjoyed a three day stay here. Rooms are clean and charming, although the bed is a little hard. Great views. The morning breakfast is a sit down around the table with other guest. It is a lot of fun getting to meet everyone and the food is good. Less than 5 min walk from place de quebec(Normandy tour pickups), cathedral, Bayeux Tapestry.

This was such a cute bed and breakfast!!! My family and I stayed here for 2 nights while we were visiting Normandy for D-Day. The hospitality was wonderful and building itself is beautiful. The rooms we are good size and very clean. At breakfast, we were offered yogurt, croissants, and different types of bread with jams, honey, and cheeses. We were offered apple juice, coffee and several teas. I wish we had been able to stay longer here in this picturesque little town!!!

A little mixed feelings about this property. While I reserved through Expedia (and thought it was a B&B), it's actually an Airbnb. This means somewhat restrictive rules, particularly the request to arrive between 5 and 8pm. Since it's a house, parking is small and limited. Everything else is very good: the rooms/baths are renovated and modern, breakfast (included) is very good, and the location is excellent, particularly to see the Bayeux landmarks. Since the house isn't a public building, navigation can be a little vague on the location, but the building is very recognizable and just a short distance from the roundabout on the right.
